Leo Eats: Ojju Malaysia

12/16/2018 08:11:00 pm
Assalamualaikum

I want to try start a new series on my blog aside from My Top 5 series. I don't know if I can keep doing this for how long as you know that I rarely post entries here... 😐 Regardless, I want to share with you my personal thoughts and opinion on a restaurant or the food that I had tried.

This is the first of the series. I know i am awful at expressing my feeling through writing but let's give it a try, shouldn't we? πŸ˜… If you have any tips on how I can improve my writing, please comment down below. I will appreciate your help. (cewah fefeeling youtuber gitteww)

Warning! This is purely my thoughts and opinion. Different people, different opinions. If you want to share your opinion, you can comment below. I would love to read it 😊 Also, I wrote this entry back on 2nd December and now baru dapat a chance to post it. Sorry if it's confusing πŸ˜…

Today my friend and I went to NU Sentral to try outs Ojju K-Food which is a Korean food restaurant. I had seen a viral tweet on twitter about this restaurant and urge my friend to try it with me. We set a date and ta-da, today (1st December) is the day. She had to work until 12.30 noon but it's okay. I can wait.

1st tip! If you want to try this restaurant I recommend you to book a table a day or two days before going to the restaurant.

This is because Ojju at NU sentral is the first one in Malaysia. There are going to be lots of people want to try the food there. I ain't kidding guys, there was lots of people who have to queue and waiting. The waiting time is 20 minutes minimum. Yes, minimum! And a worker there told us that during lunch hour on Friday, the waiting time is 40 minutes minimum. So please consider this if you want to try this out. Booking ahead of time to save you lots of time.

Warning! Please be there on time! We were late for 3 minutes macam tu and dia dah potong nama. But I am so grateful the workers there are so considerate and still give us a table. Tapi janganlah because the worker considerate you all saja-saja buat lambat and then demand a table jugak πŸ™…

What I like about Ojju is, during waiting time dorang tak akan suruh korang tunggu macam tu je. They will give you their menu and order form, so you can think of what you want to eat and terus tick on the order form. Tak ada lah nanti bila dah duduk haa kena fikir nak makan apa pulak kan. Kan dah bazir banyak masa kat situ. So thumbs up to the people who came up with this idea. They also will ask for your name and write it down so they can call you when a table has cleared up.

I totally love it when a customer is coming in, a worker will shout "Annyeong haseyo" - I think that's how you spell it. Sorry I don't know Korean πŸ˜… and the others will say "Welcome to Ojju!"

And when a customer dah bayar and going out, someone will shout "Kamsahamnida"  and the other will say "Thank you for coming!". Such a great environment lah.

Pic courtesy to my friend. This is from her angle.

Hot & Spicy Fried Chicken

The fried rice. I swear it is not this intimidating. I have been adjusting my camera phone contrast πŸ˜…

We ordered:
1. Drinks -

  • Watermelon Lemonade - mine (RM8.50)
  • Honey Mint Lemonade - my friend's (RM8.50)
Both drinks are so good, no doubt.

2. Food -

  • Hot & Spicy Fried Chicken (RM17.90)
  • Rolling cheese Chicken (wings) + fried rice - we took BBQ spicy flavor (RM43.90 + RM11.90)
Seriously, ini pun dah banyak gila. Terlebih kenyang dah ni. If you are going with just 2 people, ini memang dah berpatutan.

My verdict

What I like:
I love their Hot & Spicy Fried Chicken. Totally worth it. 2nd tips! If you don't know what to get from the menu, this is the one. Get this okay. The honey + spiciness is just the best ever.  It's like chicken popcorn but with honey spicy flavor. Sedap tak terkata wei. Until now I am typing this pun terliur lagiii. The chips are good, the chicken is good. Totally 11/10 for this dish.

What I don't like:
I am not fond of their signature dish which is Rolling cheese chicken. The main turn off is the pickle as I hate pickle. That is my personal problem. They will use the remaining cheese in the pan to fried the rice tau. So jadilah cheesy fried rice. I don't like to eat mt rice with cheese. Again, my personal problem. This is because bila dah sejuk nasi tu dia jadi muak tau. Kenyang yes, muak pun yes. I give 5/10 for this dish because the chicken pun tak rasa macam wow sangat.

Overall, I will give this restaurant 7/10. The customer service is good, some dishes are great, although there are other restaurant can surpass this. Do you want to try this again but with other dishes? Recommend me other dishes yang you all rasa betul-betul best. Maybe I will try it again.

There goes my first experience + review. How do you think? Should I keep this series or not? You can find Ojju Malaysia on Facebook (click here) Message them on messenger if you want to book a table.

Wew I did not expect for this post to be this long. I should probably stop now. Okay. Bye.

Have you been to Ojju yet?

Until I write again,
Assalamualaikum

p/s: this is not sponsored. But if Ojju nak sponsor pun boleh hehehe

So I bought a succulent | MAHA 2018

11/28/2018 09:38:00 pm

Assalamualaikum

How are you? It has been a while since my last entry, but eh... It is now 3rd week of my internship. My internship so far has been quite a journey. Everyone is so kind and helpful. I am happy where I am now. Everyday has been such a bliss and I get to learn lots of things from the seniors here. I cannot say much as it is my 3rd week here, I have 13 weeks to go until I finish this internship. I am hoping that everything will go on smoothly.

Today, my supervisor offered us - my friend and I - to go to Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism Show 2018 aka MAHA 2018 as there are some vacancy, so we got the opportunity to join the group. It was very tiring, but I had so much fun with my friends. We did not go to every places available as we were walking plus we do not have the time to go everywhere. But I am happy as I get to try lots of food, saw some exhibits and bought a succulent!

There are tons of people around. I did not expected it to be so crowded as it was on Wednesday. But it did. I am not a fan of going to crowded places, but once in a while okay lah. I don't have anything to say about it, but everything you have been hearing about MAHA 2018 is true okay.

"Lots of people, lots of food, lots of plants, lots of animal". - MAHA 2018, described by Leo.
These are some pictures I took before I decided to enjoy it with my own eyes instead of behind my phone ;

As you can see from the title above, I did bought a succulent! The only non food thing I bought from the event. The story goes when our co-worker wanted to buy a succulent, and the price was 3 or RM13. As there were 3 of us at the moment, she said why not we buy one for each of us? And I was like, yeah okay. I have been wanting to buy a cacti or succulent for a long time. But I have not got the chance. Today is my day!

At the first moment I laid my eyes of the succulents, I was entranced by this one particular purple succulent. To me it was such a unique thing as everything else was regular coloured - green. Without further ado, I took it and bring it home.

I took the farthest right - the purple one!

Now I put it on my window and I hope it's sufficient lah. Mind you, I have literally no experience taking care of a plant, let alone a succulent. If you have any tips on how to keep it living in a long life, please please tell me how. After posting this entry I am going to start googling how to take care of it. I am going to pray that I inherit my mom's green thumb πŸ˜…

I am planning of buying those aesthetic pots. Ha barulah hipstur gituuu

Here is my succulent in the original pot. I am going to upgrade it into hipstur succulent later hehe

Have you been to MAHA yet? If so, what have you bought?

Until I write again,

Road to Intern

10/25/2018 12:51:00 pm

Assalamualaikum

Alhamdulillah I have finish my exhibition on 22nd of October haritu. Then I went back home on 23rd October. I kid you not, it was super tiring I ended up sleeping the whole journey away.

I would like to share with you the day of our exhibition. We was the first batch of diploma to do this exhibition. Biasanya degree je yang kena buat exhibition for their final year project. But this time, our dean wanted us to do the same. The exact name of the exhibition was 'Diploma Exhibition of Technology and Engineering' as known as DEXTEr 2018.

For my course we just have do some testing and that was it. It is quite easier than other courses yang kena buat prototype, model whatsoever. As my course related to metal, we just need to do some testing on metal and observing the microstructures and that's it. Also, we have to do our project individually. The only thing yang kena goreng masa present pun about the microstructure lah... and result.

I had told my project title before, but in case you're wondering my title was

The Effect of Solution Concentration in Copper Electroplating on Stainless Steel

Alhamdulillah, I get to explain my project calmly. Although before that I was a nervous mess. But I kind of failed when explaining my result as I did not get what I was supposed to get. It's an experiment guys, it tend to get a little error in some places.

Then in the afternoon until evening, we have IR 4.0 talk and closing ceremony of the DEXTEr 2018. This is the moment where most of us already 'tewas'. We were so sleepy, some already fell asleep in the hall during the talk. Me and a friend of mine managed to stay awake although mata pun dah kuyu semacam je πŸ˜‚

All in all, I am glad it is over now and everything is in the past. All the sweats, almost crying moments during completing our projects are gone. Now is the road to our internship.

I do not know if I can reveal where I am going to do my internship, but all I can say is it is one of the government institutes. I think you can guess dah kut because in the last post I already told you the location hehe.

I hope everything is going well. I have rent a room and we are going to finalize everything by next week, insyaAllah.

- - - - -

My mom wants me to continue my studies in degree, but I have not decided yet what course I should take. Shall I continue studying metal or is it the time for me to change to materials? I have not decide it yet, but I probably going to study material engineering next.

Let's hold this decision for future me... 😚

How is everyone doing? It's convocation time, isn't it? Do you have anyone in your family, friends or are you going to or had convocation? If so,

Congratulations to all graduates πŸ’πŸŽ‰

Next year is going to be my turn pulak, insyaAllah.

Until I write again,
Assamualaikum.

Yeay dah habis diploma! EH (?)

10/12/2018 09:38:00 pm

Assalamualaikum

How have you been? Everything is good? Great!

I just finish my final exam on Wednesday and it felt so good. I do not have to be worrying about all those chapters I have not covered yet. This is probably what I have been waiting for since I start my diploma 2 years ago haha

Remember these last 2 posts where I had been whining about not getting a place for my internship? Eh you probably would not remember it. I mean that's a veeeeery long ago. Alhamdulillah, I have gotten my internship offer. Not one, but 2 offers. Alhamdulillah. I have accepted one of them, but now I have to be worrying about a place to stay pulak. By the way, my internship place is at Kajang. so hi orang Kajang πŸ‘‹ What should I expected when living in Kajang?

Sebenarnya, tak habis lagi pun diploma ni. Tajuk tu saja nak buat gempak je hehe. I still have exhibition for my final year project this 22nd October. Please wish my good luck πŸ™ I hope all my hard work regarding this final year project will be worth it. Also, I still have to do my internship for about 4 months. So yeah, good luck to me yeay.

Who's the same as me? Good luck to you too πŸ’– *sending virtual good luck*

I would like to overview some of my experience in my 5th semester of diploma;

First time donate blood πŸ’‰

Yeay! The nurse (or doctor? idk i'm dumb) took 350ml of my blood which I think is a standard volume for each pack, I guess. But it looks lots for a first timer like me πŸ˜… It was an experience I treasure. I did feel a bit nausea and almost faint, but that is probably my fault. As I was the last person to donate the blood, they were cleaning up the place and I felt like I was a nuisance. So, I decided to get out as fast as possible. But it sure is a mistake for me. I am truly going to remember that.

First time got stung by a wasp 🐝

Have you ever heard of how dangerous and evil a wasp is? Yep, I can confirm that. I was minding my own business at a bistro, then I went to pay for my food. After that, I went back to my seat to take my bag and guess what? The wasp out of nowhere come and stung my thigh. I did not realise there was a wasp, I only realise it when I felt the pain. And oh god, the pain is truly unbearable.

I felt like my whole leg is on fire. It truly a pain I did not want to repeat again. The first moment I got into my room, I literally googled on what to do after being stung by a wasp. Then I go take a shower and clean the area. After that I out some medicine oil given by my friend. My friend then went to buy some ice and the whole night I put the ice around the area.

The next morning, the place still hurt a little but bearable lah. By afternoon, rasa sakit or even bengkak pun dah tak ada. So yeah, it's a tips guys. Put ice to avoid swollen and reduce pain my evil wasps.

My second time went to a camp 🌳

The last time I went to a camp was when I was form 2 - fourteen year old. Yeah, almost 6 years ago. I hate going to a camp and this camp is no better. I hate all the rushing but the organizer pun tak ikut masa πŸ˜• all those yelling and getting mad at nothing and everything... uggghh

These three je kut yang I get to think right now. Let me share other thing in my next post (maybe after exhibition?) Bye guys!

Until I write again,
Assalamualaikum.

How is your life right now? Any exciting things happen or got any recommendation for me?

p/s: I know the emoji was a bee, but there's no wasp emoji. Why would there be one? Wasp is an evil lol

August recap & Selamat Hari Merdeka!

8/31/2018 09:43:00 pm

Assalamualaikum

How are you? It has been a month since my last update and I am sorry about that. It has been such a hectic month for me. I'm going to bore you, but i still want to talk about what happened in August.

On the first week, i went home for midterm break yang tak approve tu. Yes, our dean did not approve our midterm break as she said she's going to give us extra 2 days for Raya Haji. regardless, our lecturers decided they wanted to give us the break, and so I went back home.

Second and third weeks was full of midterm tests, completing final year project, and other side projects as in assignments and just living my life - or should I say worrying about where to intern... I did not expect looking for a place for internship is this hard. Itu belum lagi cari kerja, lagi susah kot.

Then last week sis balik lagi for Raya Haji. Did you read above our dean promised to give us extra 2 days for Raya Haji? Ha ha joke on us. She told us that she never said that πŸ˜ƒ... erm. But whatever, still going home for a week. Now that I think about it, this semester banyak gila cuti. Every 2 weeks balik rumah which is rare for me..

And now that we are here, I still have lots of things to do but me, being me is doing what I do best - procrastinating 😌

Enough about that, I want to share with you the things of the month. Sis tak tahu nak panggil apa but, yeah...

Music of the month
  • Darkside - Alan Walker; Au/Ra; Tomine Harket
  • Solo - Clean Bandit ft. Demi Lovato
  • I'm a Mess - Bebe Rexha
haa tiga lagu ni la aku duk ulang-ulang walaupun dalam playlist sebenarnya banyak je lagu lain. Paired with good rhythm  catchy beat, I'm easily sway by these songs hehe. Support the musicians by streaming their songs on Spotify / buy their songs on iTunes!

Movie of the month

Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War. Yes, I just watched this movie in this month. Itu pun tengok online je guna my brother's hotspot haha. I have so many unanswered questions that I hope will be answered in Avengers 4. Hopefully, I got a chance to watch it on time lah. Cerita dah basi with lots of spoilers lying around, sis baru nak tengok...

By the way, I didn't watch Munafik 2. I heard lots of good reviews for it. What do you think? Have you watch it? I don't have a gut to watch it hehe sis memang tak minat cerita horror ni. Gore I can handle, but horror um, no please...

Tv shows of the month
  • Game of Thrones - currently watching season 5. Yes, another famous amous tv show but I just start watching it last week. In a week I have almost finish 5 seasons. Laju kan... that's what I do during my free or not free time.
  • Meteor Garden - episode 19. Stopped watching because the apps that I use to watch it takde subtitle for the next episode, so terpaksa la sis stop sekejap sementara nak download dari kissasian.

Games of the month
  • Alice in the Mirrors of Albion - I have been playing this game everyday since I downloaded it. Best gila, I assure it. It is quite s*ck bila kena tunggu for the energy, but I usually buat benda lain to make me forget about it. So bila I open the game, eh dah penuh energy ha gitu. Basically this game is like detective game but just finding clues and arresting criminal. For me quite fun lah. Sis bagi 8/10
  • Zombie Hunter - I just start playing this game, and it is fun! It's basically as the name suggest. A shooting game of zombie hunter.
These are mobile games, by the way. Sis tak main game kat dalam pc or laptop... And also these games don't require internet connection - which is a plus!, unless for updates lah.

I did not read any book or watch any anime this month. I am too busy filling my time with all of the above hehe. But I want to finish my book that I have been reading since forever soon. Please give me some motivation to finish it πŸ˜“

Selamat Hari Merdeka yang ke-61! πŸŽ‰

Well, it's night right now but never too late, right? Right.

Happy Independence day, Malaysia. I am proud to be a Malaysian. But that's about it. I have sooo much to say about Malaysia, but I think it is best to keep it to myself and my friends only 😊

Tomorrow will be a new month with addition of SST. Yeay πŸ˜ƒ It was good while it last.

How did you celebrate your Merdeka? Pergi perarakan di Putrajaya tak? I'm still stuck here in uni, so I just do some notes for my quiz je lah...

- - - - - -

I was so surprised when I open my blog today and see that I currently have 494 followers! Thank you so much for following this blog 😭 I haven't update in a month but still, you follow me. I appreciate it so much πŸ’˜  I haven't get a chance to follow you back, as my friend tadi ajak makan pula. So I will follow you guys back as soon as I publish this entry.

I have promised that I will do giveaway when I reach 500 followers, right? Let's keep that number up ⇧ hehe

How was your August? Is it any fun? Did something productive?

Until I write again,

Things I have watched (2018 so far)

7/21/2018 12:03:00 am

Assalamualaikum

I have been wanting to make this kind of post since in May tak silap. Siap ada buat draft lagi kau. But since I had watch too many things in the past (almost) 7 months, I can't possibly list all of them, right? Actually I can, but I'm not that rajin right now. Hehe. By the way, I will be having MUET exam tomorrow - for reading, speaking and listening papers. So, this is a way for me to improve my language while I have something to write for my blog hihi

I had wrote this list back in May, so I'm just going to add what I have watched in these 2 months. Also none of these are horror because I'm weak.

So far, I have finished 20 movies, 10 anime and 2 tv shows approximately. This list is in no particular order. I just list based on what I downloaded this year hehe.

Movies:

  • The Villainess (korea)
  • The Swindlers (korea)
  • Yesterday Once More (china)
  • Mr. pride vs Ms. prejudice (china)
  •  Forever young (china)
  • One week friends (japan)
  • The 100th love with you (japan)
  • Battle royale (japan)
  • My Tomorrow, Your Yesterday (japan)
  • Teiichi No Kuni (japan)
  • Clover (japan)
  • F the prom (usa)
  • Jumanji 2: welcome to the jungle (usa)
  • What happened to Monday (usa)
  • Ready Player One (usa)
  • The Greatest Showman (usa)
  • Pitch Perfect 3 (usa)
  • Game Night (usa)
  • Black Panther (usa)
  • When We First Met (usa)

Mind you, I’m very picky when it comes to Korean – either it’s movies or drama. But now I am so in love with Korean movies with a pinch of plot twist. This is because Korean plot twist is amazing!

Most of the Japanese and Chinese movies are romance except for Teiichi No Kuni and Battle Royale. When I want to watch Japanese movie, I got to find the mood to cry first. Their romance movies are so sweet and sad. There has to be a sad scene in a movie. And me being weak to feeling, bawling my eyes out 😭

Anime:

  • Violet Evergarden
  • Tanaka-kun wa itsumo kedaruge
  • Boku no Hero Academia (season 2)
  • Code geass (season 1&2)
  • Kabaneri
  • Gokukoku no Brynhildr
  • Magi (season 1&2)
  • Owari no seraph
  • Gate Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri (season 1&2)
  • Golden Time

Violet Evergarden is so good! The movie is out now but I haven’t got a chance to watch it yet. If you need any reason to cry, this is it. I assure you will cry on every episode. Because I did.

Gold Time is such a sweet story. It left me wanting more after I finish it!

 Tv Shows:
  • The Good Doctor (season 1)
  • Stranger Things (season 1&2)

If you notice, I didn't include any Korean drama. Yes, everyone loves it but I'm sorry it's just not for me. I do not have the patience to watch a hero and heroine being lovey dovey or the conflict to unravel at the end of the drama. I watched 4-5 episodes of them but then nuh- uh. You lost me. But you can recommend me something to watch. Maybe it will change my mind and perspective towards Korean drama 😊
- - - - -

I totally recommend watching all these things I have listed. I enjoyed the time spending watching these things. Most of these I watched during semester break, but there are some I watch when I want to take a little break from uni hehe

Have you watch any of these?
What are your thought on them? And also, recommend me more things to watch please!

Until I write again,

July dilemma

7/15/2018 02:11:00 pm

Assalamualaikum

First of all, I want to tell you that I'm one of the MUET candidates in this second session. The reason I didn't take MUET in the first session is because I was not ready yet. But now I am ready. Well, hopefully. But all in all, I have done my speaking test on 10th July - which is last week.

I would like to share a little bit of my experience in taking speaking test last week. My test was at 11 a.m. but we departed from college at 6.30 a.m. Which means I have almost 6 hours to spare. Kalau balik Selangor dah sampai + boleh tidur 5 kali ni 😁 I'll put it in bullet point to shows you the flow πŸ‘‡
  • 6.30 a.m. : departed from college - tapi bukan on time pun. Biasalah janji Melayu
  • 7.20 a.m. : arrived at facility. Then the 7.30 a.m. candidates were moved to quarantine room.
  • 7.30 a.m - 10 a.m. : lounging in the provided room. main game, makan, revise sikit
  • 10 a.m. : dah kena masuk quarantine room. during this time we were told who are going to be in our group. Each group consist of 4 people. I was blessed to be in the same group as my coursemates. Masuk air pulak tu kan haa memang syok lah nak communicate with each other.
  • 11 a.m : we were the first group untuk group petang. So we get to be the first to know what was the second question of the day.
During the test:
I was blessed again because I was candidate D. Which means I got a long time to prepare myself whilst my friends presenting their points. The first time I saw the question, it was not surprise me as we knew the question for afternoon session is going to be tough. Every sem memang soalan group pagi senang kemain, sampai kat group petang hmm. I don't know if it's my uni atau semua macam tu.

But regardless, I managed to tackle the question - or I hope I did... The interaction between four of us during Task B also not bad lah.

Alright, enough about MUET examination. Let's moving on...

This month we were given a talk about how to apply for internship. And to be honest, I'm still in dilemma of where to apply them. We were suggested to apply for the best 5 companies  for the first time. I have chosen one, but the others I haven't figure those out yet.

The struggle of before internship is doing the resume. Until now I haven't complete my resume yet. This is because I'm worrying about my lack of professional experience. If there's one thing that I regretted not doing during semester break is working. Either part time or full time. To those who are still in uni, please get a job experience if you still have time okay. I was told that companies value those who have working experience. For a non-experience like me, it's a struggle as I decide on what should be on my resume.

I just hope my resume is enough to catch HR's eyes despite my lack of working experience πŸ˜‚ Let's all pray for me to land on an internship and next get a job (insyaAllah)

How are your July going? Is it good or vice versa?

Until I write again,

Comfortable clothing

6/23/2018 04:11:00 pm
Assalamualaikum

Happy Eid Mubarak!

On 5th Syawal, my family and I – except my sister because she’s working – went to send off my dad at KLIA2. It was my first time going out m=of my comfort zone by wearing jubah to go out. The reason is, before that we went to my cousin’s open house and I’m too lazy to change my outfit. I grab my purse and phone and then I’m out.

Never in my life I went anywhere other than open houses or classes wearing jubah or baju kurung or just wearing anything with skirt in general. I’m trousers/jeans/slack kind of girl. It was my first time and surprisingly I feel very comfortable.

Before this, I would think about of people’s judgment on my outfit. It’s unhealthy, but it’s the way I am. Always being thinking about what people will think of me.

Now that I’m 20, I just think about myself more. I was like, “lantak lah orang nak cakap apa pun.” Ignore them all, that’s what I do best. Some people can’t think like that. They have their own insecurities, and that’s okay because you’re going to outgrow them.

Nowadays, I feel uncomfortable when wearing close-fittings clothes. I’d choose slack and palazzo over jeans any day. I feel it limited my movements and makes me claustrophobic – is that’s the right analogy. The thought that I attract the eyes of men’s also one of the reason. Not to judge anyone, this is truly what I feel about myself. The more flowy the clothes are, the more comfortable I am. The better mood I’m in. And you don’t want to see me being moody.

That’s it, I guess. I want to share with you some of my thought while wearing jubah in public. I hope I can encourage those who are hesitating to wear our traditional clothing in public. But make sure kena tempat lah. Nanti plan nak bungee jumping, pastu pakai baju kurung. Tak ke pelik nampaknya tu? Haha.

The jubah was bought by my uncle when he went to Makkah for umrah. By the way, if you guys have or know any shops that are selling cheap jubah or abaya, do tell me please! A girl need a wardrobe change haha

Happy Eid Mubarak!

Until I write again,

My top 5: Things in my bag | Uni version

6/05/2018 08:00:00 am

Assalamualaikum

Hi, this is my first ever what's in my bag series and maybe I'll write more when I feel like it (?) I'm doing this for my go-to class bag because when I was out, I do not usually bring a handbag around - unless I want to put lots of things. When I go out, I just grab my purse and phone and sometimes my powerbank - tu pun letak dekat handbag mak 😐 I just don't really bring many things on me whenever I go out.

But recently I bought a handbag because my mom didn't like to see my pocket bulge when I put my purse in lol

Sebenarnya post ni is not supposed to be in my top 5 pun, because it's literally what I bring every single day to class. But just for the sake of the tag - or series - I still want to include the my top 5 tu hehe. It's okay, right?

Currently, I'm using a simple black tote bag that I bought at Padang Besar for RM10. It's really cheap and don't have any extra pockets besides the main compartment. The reason I bought the bag is because it's cheap (obviously), it has zipper and it's totally water resistant due to the material used - so I don't have to worry about my notes getting wet bila kena redah hujan haha

I have lots of things in put in my bag. Mainly for study purposes, tapi kalau ada benda lain such as powerbank and purse – it’s because I forgot to charge my phone & weh I need money for food lah.

1. Notes
Haha of course lah pergi kelas bawa notes, kan? If the class use textbook instead of notes, then I’ll bring the textbook. I loathe bringing the textbook, because let me tell you – engineering textbooks are super thick and heavy. Since I use one shoulder bad, it’s a burden to my shoulder. So kalau bawa buku, I won’t put it in my bag and instead pegang je.

2. Pencil case
Yang ni memang betul-betul essential. Because I love to write little extra notes that didn’t provide in the printable notes. Sometimes our lecturers will say something extra as side note, but it’s still important for your own knowledge. Even though tak masuk exam, what’s wrong with little extra knowledge kan? Kalau tak nak bawa pencil case pun, at least a pen jadi lah. Takkan sign attendance pun pakai pen kawan ^^” unless you really forgot your pencil case, then it’s acceptable.

3. Highlighters
I will always bring a pack of highlighters. My lecturers usually will tell us tajuk mana yang mereka nak masukkan dalam tests or midterm tests. So they will ask us to highlight the important parts. Tapi ini certain lectures je la yang baik hati bagitahu tajuk tu. Kalau tak, hm pandai-pandai lah study semua balik ye

4. Notebook
After each lesson, I will write the important parts of the lectures onto my notebook. This way, kalau pensyarah tu tanya something from the past chapter, I can quickly turn back the pages and answer them. Tak ada lah nanti lecture tu marah bila taka da sesiapa yang jawab. They’re going to be like “haritu baru belajar takkan dah lupa”. This is uni wei, they expect you to remember everything from day one T_T

5. A4 paper or foolscape paper
This is quite important jugalah. It’s because sometimes my lecturers akan suruh buat assignment or exercise or test mengejut and kena hantar hari tu juga. Not every lesson like this, but when they do it haa kan dah kena pinjam kawan pula. Eh, bukan pinjam tapi ambil dah tak berganti dah. Isn’t it annoying? Bukan nak kedekut lah, tapi make sense lah kan when you bought the papers with your own pocket money and your friends senang-senang minta kertas. Once or twice okay lah, tapi kalau setiap kali macam ni, boleh naik angin jugalah πŸ˜“

So these are the 5 things I always have in my go-to class bag. Like I said, these are essentials things I bring to my class je. Just because my class and my hostel is not that far - about 5 minutes walking distance, so I don't necessarily bring water bottle or food.

p/s: I scheduled this post to go up by the time I'm going back to my uni, but apparently it's still in my draft. I don't know what happened, so I'm just going to post this today.

What's in your go to class bag?
is it the same as me or entirely different things?

Until I write again,
Assalamualaikum

Ramadhan Kareem

5/16/2018 10:27:00 pm
Assalamualaikum

Alhamdulillah, sekali lagi diberi peluang untuk melalui Ramadhan this year. Di kesempatan ini, I want to wish you all happy Ramadhan Kareem! Semoga Ramadhan kali ni penuh barakah dan dipenuhi dengan amalan untuk mendekatkan diri kita dengan yang Maha Esa.

What's your goal in this Ramadhan? I have already made a habits tracker for Ramadhan version and I hope I can achieve them. I mean, of course bila datang "bulan merah" tu I can't do nothing la kan about that... 🌚

I'm going back to my uni on 6th June, which by then dah 2 minggu puasa. Then puasa kat sana about a week and a half lepastu balik raya pulak. yeay. You all dah beli tiket raya ke? I've bought it myself, tapi tiket balik sana after raya tak beli lagi hihi. It's okay la kan kalau tiket habis boleh raya kat rumah lama sikit πŸ˜… hihi tak puasa lagi dah sembang pasal raya pulak kan.

okay, that's it je kot. I'll see you in the next update lah. Bye!

Askmeme: Ice cream asks

4/20/2018 01:54:00 pm

Assalamualaikum

It has been a long time since I last update this blog. Dah 4 bulan dah kot. And this month I'm finally in my twenties... or 20 years old to be exact. Hello twenty, bye -teens :( Truthfully, dah tak ada idea nak update pasal apa haha I said this every time but it's true. So untuk elakkan blog ni daripada arwah dah, I am going to do this ask meme: Ice creams versions. I've done this in the past with two other themes : spooky asks & too much information tag. If you're interested, then go check it out :)

Oh, also I've "degrade" my blog to the good old classic template. Mostly because I want small space just in case I want to update random thoughts in small paragraph. Jadi tak ada lah rasa awkward bila ada space yang besar tapi tulis sikit jer... btw this is my previous template but I've widen the space sebab before this kecil sangat lah pula πŸ˜…

This ask meme I got from tumblr. Feel free to do this if you want too :)

Recap and Lessons of 2017

1/06/2018 03:48:00 pm

Assalamualaikum

Hi guys! Happy new year!! Although it’s already 6th Jan, it’s still relatively “new” year, right? hehe I’m at home right now, so I don’t have any wifi. I’m relaying on my mom’s hotspot je ni. Anyway, selamat tahun baru, may Allah bless this year. Let’s spend it wisely and always be happy!

I don’t think I’m going to make this year resolution, as I’m not exactly satisfied with my progress of last year’s resolution *facepalm. Last year I strive to:

1. Be a better servant of Allah - Alhamdulillah, I’m still trying my best to be a better servant. Maybe I’ll do a Ramadhan challenge this year? Hehe who knows if I’ll ever succeed (or even meet Ramadhan this year) I just can only pray for the best to myself and others.

2. Save money – This. Is. The. Trickiest. Last year I save about RM0.00. For the love of God, it’s so hard for me to save money ;-; I cannot resist all these food, discounts and offers, skincare, things… maybe it’s because I don’t exactly set a goal of what to buy and the exact amount. Let’s try again this year (with a goal) and I hope I’ll succeed. insyaAllah

3. Get dean list for sem 2 and sem 3 – Alhamdulillah, I’m proud of my result in the last two semesters. I’m in sem 4 right now, and it’s already midterm so yeah, let’s do best this sem and sem5 too.

4. Update blog regularly and first giveaway (?) – Ha ha ha. Overall, I updated this blog ONLY 10 TIMES THIS YEAR. What is happening to me ;-; and also no first giveaway ha ha. InsyaAllah this year kalau ada rezeki I’ll do it. (itu pun kalau my followers sampai 500) but no promise, because I’m suck at keeping promise. Sorry.

5. Lead a healthy lifestyle – As I said before, I’m training myself to drink flavoured water only once per day and sometimes once every 2 days. But sadly, 0 times I went jogging. Yeah, sorry again. Let’s jog this year, okay? My body is going to cry in happiness every time I decide to jog, but cry in sadness when I find a reason to cancel it. yeah, that’s pretty much the story of my life.

Things I’ve learned in 2017:

Things we see doesn’t always the truth. For instance, we see someone as how good their appearance is, how kind they are, how rich they are. But they also have their own downfall. Like how lazy they are, how they don’t really care of their environment, how they are quick to judge and how they can talk bad about someone else without batting an eyelash. And vice versa, of course. We just see what they want us to see, but those who live with them know the truth. And I think that’s a pretty good lesson to not judge someone by their appearance only. We gotta listen to those who know them the best rather than making our own assumption.

Never choose a someone who will keep you away from your God and your family. Yes, cinta itu buta and sometimes terlalu buta sampai sanggup tinggalkan mak ayah just for a guy/girl you barely know. And that’s what pissed me off so much. Willing to spend lots of money and time on them, as long as they say they “love” you. Although your parents don’t always say it, I’m pretty sure they love you more than anything. So, please don’t abandon your parents for someone who are not that worth it. Not everyone is bad, but most of them are bad.

Never over excited about things especially friendship. Why I said especially friendship? It’s because to me, friendship is just a phase. Everyone will eventually leave you for better or for worst.so I’ve train myself to not get very excited over friendship, such as “omg we’re BEST FRIEND FOREVER” then proceed to buy friendship bracelet, rings or necklaces – because girls are like that. One or two month later, the contacts between us gradually decreasing until we didn’t talk to each other anymore. Idk if it’s just me or it’s always like that. If it’s just me… wait. that’s pretty messed up…

• Kill them with kindness. Insult them with sarcasm. Shut them up with your bullshit. Live life as there is no tomorrow. Do whatever that won’t harm yourself. If your smoke: stop it! You're only killing yourself and others. Embrace! Your! Insecurities! A simple gratitude can make someone’s day. Take care of yourself. The world is cruel, but don’t let you be one too.

The last but not least, bye 2017, hello 2018. please be a great year for me and everyone else, except for racist and those Islamophobic people. Respect others, and you will get respected too. Adios amigos.

Until I write again,
Assalamualaikum
